Vieux Chalet is the best restaurant ever and my favorite of all time. If I could give it 10.0/5.0, I would. The service and the food are superb. I love everything about this restaurant: how they treat their customers, how they prepare their food, and the taste of their food - from their main entrées to the appetizers and desserts. Big kudos and salute to their owner and staff. If you are looking for the best restaurant experience in Antipolo and want to spend a wonderful lunch or dinner time with your loved ones, then go to this restaurant.

The experience was great! A good place for out of town meals with family or friends. They serve a free appetizer before coming out with your orders. They have set menu that I think is very sulit. The best pizza I've ever tasted is theirs! You'll definitely leave the place with a happy tummy

We tried the Mon Cherie set at Vieux Chalet and everything was really good! It started with a refreshing drink, soup, and salad, then came this super yummy cheesy dip with crunchy chips—such a nice surprise. For mains, we had the smoked porkchop and grilled fish. Both were flavorful and came with tasty sides like mashed squash, veggies, and herbed rice. The mushroom sauce on the side was sooo good! We ended with coffee and a cute chocolate fondue platter with fruits, cookies, and other sweets. It was such a fun way to end the meal. The place is cozy and peaceful, perfect for chill dates or special lunches. Definitely planning to come back!

My go-to restaurant when I want a quick reset from the busy life of Manila. The place is very cozy and peaceful. I love their breakfast and lunch menu, simple yet filling. They also have a cooking club during the weekends for kids/teens/adults. I've attended to one of their cooking lesson for the fun of it and I really did enjoy it especially with Ms. Flo's professionalism and guidance.

Spent a great anniversary dinner here with my girlfriend. We had a pleasant evening overall. Great food and service. I guess this is just timing, but man, if you’re bringing kids at this resto, please make sure to have them behave. We were bugged by the noise the kids were making at the other table. We just want to eat in peace.

it’s been a really long time since my first visit in vieux chalet around 2006. i found out my mom got to know this place through ourawesomeplanet then. we’d go on road trips and eat out somewhere nice and it was a nice sunset day. it was still an open venue then and you can see the nice city lights at night. i remember being seated by the window before. i can’t remember as much before but that we did have pizza and pasta. the vibe was homey and it’s still homey now, the service warm and inviting. now the venue has got a few improvements as it is a closed four wall space, with even more paintings adorning the place. they even have saturday cooking workshops which sounds really fun. this time around we got the following: •swiss platter — comes with an assortment of ham and bread, spreads and jams like assorted yellow fruits and pate, dried fig and mandarin, cookies, tomatoes, and butter of course. •fettuccine padilla — creamy and rich, with ham and mushrooms. also comes with a side of 2 bread buns •seven-cheese grilled pizza — the pizza was a bit too oily, probably from the assortment of cheeses, but still tasted good and cheesy as it’s named •salad of the day — putobumbong inspired their homemade breads are really good. the quality of the food and service overall even better. would love to come back here again with the family and possibly a weekend workshop.

Hearing anticipated mass at Antipolo Cathedral took us to revisit Vieux Chalet, our first time back in over 20 years. This was one of our go-to places in the ’80s; we would save for the beef fondue that was already expensive then. My husband and I even laughed, wondering how we ever managed to find it back then without cellphones or Waze. It was such a treat to find it still standing, homey and charming, and serving excellent beef fondue and other Swiss dishes at great value. We ordered our old favorite, and were amazed by the generous portions, tender beef and rich flavor. The beef fondue set for 2 (₱3,842) can feed four! Everything we tried, from the refreshing drinks, appetizers and salad (everything home made!) to the flavorful beef and aromatic coffee — was spot on. Hats off to the owner’s daughter for keeping the charm and quality alive. Still one of Antipolo’s best dining experiences, and well worth the trip (and traffic).

My partner and I walked in for Sunday lunch and were seated right away, but the place quickly filled up, so if we had come a little later, we might not have gotten a table. There is no dedicated parking lot; instead, you park on the roadside after going up a slight incline near the restaurant. A parking attendant is there to guide you. While the view isn't perfect due to a house right in front, the restaurant is perched on a hill surrounded by nature, offering a distant view of Manila's skyline. The food is delicious. We ordered the set menu for two, and the portions were quite generous. We only managed to finish the fish dish and had to take the chicken dish home. It was still tasty when we had it at home. The service was good, though there’s still some room for improvement.
